Some of the exams I've cleared:

My student Supriyo Sutradhar, a resident of Santinagar, Kokrajhar, (privately tutored, not as a part of any academy) cleared 5 entrance exams: JEE Main, JEE Advanced, IISER, IACS and CUET in 2024.

As his interest was in pursuing basic sciences, he took admission in the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science(IACS), Kolkata, the oldest research institute in the entire Asia.

Nowadays when clearing entrances alongside 11th & 12th is thought as impossible by many, he aimed and cleared some of the toughest national level entrances for integrated BSc-MSc courses: IACS and IISER.

The admission to IACS was a tough one: it consisted of not only the written entrance, but also an interview round.

He came to me last year, at the beginning of session for Class 12, to prepare for entrances like ISI, CMI, NISER, IISER and IACS.

He wanted to pursue BSc-MSc (Integrated 5 year course) in Basic Sciences at top institutions of the nation.

Such is the level of preparation for IISER, IACS, NISER, etc that, with my guidance and mentorship, not only he cleared exams which he aimed for, but also cleared engineering entrances like JEE Main very easily.

As far as I know, nobody cleared entrances like IISER and IACS from Kokrajhar ever before. The last known big result from Kokrajhar came many years ago when 3 students cleared IIT-JEE(now known as JEE Advanced) in 2012, that too from coaching taken at big cities.

To my knowledge, this is the first such entirely "homegrown" big result in Kokrajhar.

This is a big achievement for entire Kokrajhar. It will inspire his juniors/students currently studying in 11th and 12th to believe that, with effort and proper guidance, they too can clear whatever entrance they aim for.
